Musk discussed what privileges he believes Twitter Blue users should have in a series of tweets on Saturday, 9th April, 2022. “Everyone who signs up for Twitter Blue (which costs $3 per month) should receive an authentication checkmark,” Musk declares.
It’s worth noting that Elon followed up with a tweet. He clarified that the checkmark for subscribing to Twitter Blue should differ from the one used to differentiate between public figures and official accounts.
Twitter Blue is a $3-per-month subscription that grants Twitter users exclusive access to premium features and app customizations.
But should be different from “public figure” or “official account” checkmark

Twitter Blue subscribers also get dedicated support for issues related to their subscription. This could be useful for managing subscriptions, gaining access to your account or settings, and resolving enrollment issues. Other issues that may arise include troubleshooting special features that are only available to subscribers.
