Google Business Profile Begins Offering Easy-to-Scan QR Code Create Option for Customer Reviews

Google, the California-based tech maker, has brought a new option to create easy-to-scan QR codes on Business Profile. The QR code lets customers scan and get re-directed to the add review form, freeing them from distractions and difficulties that were previously present in finding the form.

Google Business Profile – Now Create Easy-to-Scan QR Codes
As mentioned, Google has added a new option for business owners to create easy-to-scan QR codes on Business Profile, which will take customers directly to their GBP (Google Business Profile) within Google Maps and Google Search, and at the same time will encourage customers to leave more reviews. Business owners can access the feature on the desktop by going to their Business Profile and clicking on ‘Ask for reviews’, or by visiting their review page and tapping on ‘Get more reviews’.
After getting the QR code, Business owners can simply print and display it in their store, or add it on to their website, or even share it along with the signature or sender info on emails. The aim of the feature is to provide an easy access for customers on to the review page and at the same time enable good businesses gain more positive feedback to let them standout among their competitors.
In related news, early this year in January 2025, Google also made the chat with text and WhatsApp feature available to Business owners in the United States, and the feature is also available to Indian business owners as well. Just to add, Google is also now revealed to show sports scores on the ‘At a Glance’ widget in its Pixel launcher as per a recent update.
