Google news give a new touch to desktop users

Google News gives a fresh touch for their desktop on the occasion of its 20th Birthday.

The update gives more importance to local news and personalized content.

Additionally, users can easily modify the news by clicking on the blue ‘customise’ button in the right column.

Local news can also add locations by making changes in the settings to the right of the local news header.

Moreover, the biggest change happened is that various categories of news like – world, Security, Defence, Entertainment and Lifestyle, Sports, Science and Health are moved to the menu bar.

Earlier, it was on the left – hand side of the screen.

Moreover, Google also added ‘Fact Check’ section which reveals repudiation of viral claims from Full Fact organization.

Atlast, the new Google News desktop redesign looks like a newspaper’s front page. However, the change is pretty less but it really gives a good look.
