Just like Samsung, the California based tech maker – Google is also now revealed to start showing sports scores on the ‘At a Glance’ widget. This will let users easily catch sports scores and updates from their devices.

Sports Scores on Pixel’s ‘At a Glance’ Widget
Google’s Pixel devices are well praised for all its software features and functionality, and its ‘At a Glance’ widget is one such fan favorite feature. Without having to open any apps, the widget provides users with live updates concerning the weather condition, reminders if any, upcoming events, and more. As per new updates, Google will begin to show sports scores too directly via the At a Glance widget.
Speaking more, Google has been working on this feature since the month of November 2024, last year, and it is said to be similar to how Now Bar gives sports updates on Samsung devices. For At a Glance, the sports updates will be taken from the Google app itself, however it may affect the battery life of the device and users may find their device running out of power quickly. Also to note, this feature will only be available on the At a Glance widget built into the Pixel launcher and not on the standalone widget. From what it seems, Google is trying to bring this feature for sports fans and fanatics, letting them enjoy and be updated on their favorite games at all times.
