Google Search allows users to invite to their homes Baby Yoda
Using Google’s 3D model and virtual reality experience, Grogu (Baby Yoda) will now be welcomed into your house. As of now, searching on Google Search for the words Baby Yoda, Grogu, and The Kid can pull up a 3D model of the small, cute alien, and users can now use a smartphone to view it in their own space.
Google Search on mobile, according to Mashable, is home to several cool 3D models of objects that range from dinosaurs to cats. Grogu, more frequently named Baby Yoda, from Disney’s The Mandalorian Television program, is the newest addition. Searching for each of the three words above brings up an information panel about the character.
The information panel contains a 3D model of the tiny creature, in addition to images and a short overview. Tap the model that you can spin with your thumbs, which will bring up an immersive version. As well as an AR model, the model provides speech sound effects.
As per Mashable, a user can grant the Google app access to the device’s camera by tapping the button to view Grogu in your environment. Point the camera in a room to the floor (or other surfaces) and the 3D object appears on it, with animations and sound effects.
Mashable said the tool is a great opportunity to see Baby Yoda in all its beauty and is a fun way to amuse children who may be shocked to see the alien on the floor of their bedroom. For related AR encounters, instead of Grogu, one should scan for stuff like a cat, dog, and dinosaur.
