Instagram to soon allow users to repost other user’s postings, Know more
Instagram, a photo and video sharing app owned by Meta, has announced that it will soon allow users to repost other users’ postings. The firm has not yet made the repost option available to the general public, but it hopes to start testing it with a small group of users soon. Social media strategist Matt Navarra was the first to notice the new feature when he uploaded a screenshot that shows a Reposts tab. All of the posts that individuals have shared on their accounts will most likely be located in this tab. The Repost tab will show up on user profiles alongside the posts, reels, and tagged photographs tabs, as shown in the screenshot. Since there isn’t currently a direct way to repost posts on Instagram, users who want to do so occasionally use third-party programmes.

According to an email from a Meta representative, “We’re exploring the ability to reshare posts in Feed — similarly to how you can reshare in Stories — so people can share what resonates with them and so original creators are credited for their work. We plan to test this soon with a small number of people.”
