Latest Update On Google: It makes changes to Google Documents’ imported PDFs

Google makes the migration of PDFs to Google Docs even easier. Here are some of the main developments in the coming days that you can see.

PDFs imported to Google Docs will soon look better than ever

On Monday, Google said it had carried out a series of changes aimed at making the system of translating PDFs into Google Docs even easier. For both business and end-users, the updates have already started to roll out.

According to Google, Google Workplace Basics, Business Starter, Business Standard, Business Plus, Enterprise Essentials, Enterprise Standard, and Enterprise Plus, as well as customers with G Suite General, Business, College, Enterprise for Education, and Nonprofits, are available for the improvements.

Users will see enhancements in the current update when downloading files, which include pictures and text wraps linked to images. Google further notes that it has already enhanced the translation of text types and formats such as strikethrough and underline.

Users may also anticipate interface migration improvements to provide support for elements such as custom page sizes, border tables, multi-column templates, and reading of a text.

Note that for the new functionality, there is no admin power. The function would be turned on by default for end-users.

Dark Mode On Chrome

Google is working on the Chrome browser for macOS and Windows 10 systems to boost the dark mode. Note that Chrome already supports dark mode, but a more robust integration is likely to come with the latest update. Dark mode, for example, can be extended to scrollbars that are currently not supported. Settings, bookmarks, a history page, new tab page, and PDF printing screen will now be expanded to support dark mode.
