Playstation Network is still down for more than 14 hours with no official update as to what has happened

Several users have reported being unable to log in to the PlayStation Network. The issue began around 4 AM IST on 8th February 2025, with approximately 71,000 users reporting problems. While the number has now dropped to around 6,400, the issue remains ongoing, according to Downdetector.
PlayStation acknowledged the issue in a post about 14 hours ago, stating that they were working on a fix. However, since then, the company has not provided any further updates on its official social media channels. This lack of communication is especially frustrating for users worldwide, given that it is the weekend.
