The new NVIDIA App beta update comes with support for AV1 SDR and HDR video encoding, thus improving the clarity and quality of recordings. It utilizes the eighth-generation NVIDIA Encoders (NVENC) on GeForce RTX 40 Series graphics cards and laptop GPUs thus improving the encoding efficiency by 40% which helps in producing higher quality videos without requiring more disk space. Now gamers can record at 120fps which is available for all codecs.

With one click of automatic GPU tuning and the performance panel, the owners of the GeForce RTX desktop graphic cards and laptops will be able to maximize the potential of their GPUs. This feature scans your system performance characteristics and offers one-click automatic GPU tuning, optimizing your GPU’s performance. It also makes sure to perform regular checkups on your GPU to ensure the best tuning profile.
In-Game Overlay Updates
With this update user interface for Photo Mode, has been improved, simplified the process to exit the overlay, and added GPU power in the Statistics section, enabling you to track usage in-game and in the app.
