#Reject_Zomato : Netizens trend this because of this Zomato chat executive over tamil language
Deepinder Goyal and Pankaj Chaddah established Zomato, an Indian international restaurant aggregator and meal delivery firm, in 2008. Zomato offers restaurant information, menus, and user ratings, as well as meal delivery from partner restaurants in a few locations.
According to a Twitter user who shared a chat between him and a zomato executive. In the chat, it is clearly seen that the person was demanding a refund. However, the executive was not able to convey this to the restaurant because of the language barrier.
In the chat, the executive is seen stating that Hindi should be understood by everyone and it’s a basic language. However, this didn’t go very well with the user and he posted the same on Twitter. After this people who love the Tamil language put their concerns to zomato by trending #Reject_Zomato on Twitter.
The user goes by the name of Vikash with a username @Vikash67456607 on Twitter. Here is the preview of the tweet:
Ordered food in zomato and an item was missed. Customer care says amount can't be refunded as I didn't know Hindi. Also takes lesson that being an Indian I should know Hindi. Tagged me a liar as he didn't know Tamil. @zomato not the way you talk to a customer. @zomatocare pic.twitter.com/gJ04DNKM7w
