Samsung releases a new update for Home Up for Galaxy devices running One UI 7; includes fixes to improve user experience

Good Lock’s Home Up app enables users to customize their home screen with many customization options. It was recently reported that with One UI 7, the Home Up app can be installed directly through the One UI Settings, without installing the Good Lock app.
Samsung has now released a new update for the Home Up app that arrives with firmware version v16.0.00.58. This update is only for Galaxy devices that run on One UI 7 based on Android 15 OS.
Changelog
- Fixed the OneUI Home force close issue due to conflict with specific resources when entering the home screen editing screen while using the DIY home screen.
- Fixed bus where widgets remain transparent when deleting widgets using the toolbar in DIY home screen edit mode.
Other than this Samsung has also fixed some minor bugs though they have not specified them in the changelog. This update will improve the overall experience of users who enjoy customizing the home screens of their devices without the app crashing and widgets staying transparent.
At the beginning of this month, a new Home Up app version with a firmware version of ‘16.0.00.56’ for Galaxy S24 series One UI 7 beta testers was also made available. Currently, Galaxy S24 series beta users are waiting for the One UI 7 Beta 4 update, which is expected to be released anytime soon.
