Unlock New Engagement Opportunities: YouTube Rolls Out Posts Feature To More Eligible Creators

In order to enhance the creator-audience engagement, YouTube has announced the expansion of its posts feature to a wider range of creators. As per the announcement, the Posts feature will begin reaching the creators starting today and will reach overall in the coming weeks.

The creator can get started by

1)Tapping the “+” button in the YouTube mobile app or the  ”Create” >  “Create post” button on the desktop to draft a post

2)Play around with different format options –  polls, quizzes, GIFs, text, images, and video posts!

3)Share a post with your audience and watch the connection between you and your viewers deepen

With different formats of posts, a creator gets the freedom to gather audience opinions before and after the posts using polls. The text, images, and video posts, will provide an array of options to interact with new and existing viewers. YouTube wants to motivate the creators so that they leverage this new feature reaching to them, it wants creators to experiment with these new tools to see what resonates best with their audience. Its ultimate goal is well reflected in the post by YouTube that says to “deepen the connection between creators and viewers”.
