WhatsApp Beta 2.25.3.6 Update – New ‘Create Event’ Feature for Individual Chats
It was previously reported that WhatsApp was developing a new ‘Create Event’ feature for individual chats and back then, it was only available in group chats and community chats. With the latest WhatsApp 2.25.3.6 beta update, the feature has been brought on individual chats and a few beta testers have already received it.
WhatsApp users who have updated the app with this version 2.25.3.6 beta update will be able to find the ‘Create Event’ feature by clicking the ‘Attachment Pin’ icon in an individual chat, and plan meetings or set reminders easily, freeing them from having a long conversation on an upcoming event and also freeing them from searching the details later from the long line of chat messages. Additionally, similar capabilities that are available on the feature in group chats and community chats like specifying location, linking it to an audio or video call, and the accept/decline option, will also be available on individual chats as well.
Speaking more, the applicability and scope for this feature is also considered to be wide, enabling professionals and freelancers to set project deadlines and payment reminders, doctors to schedule an appointment with a patient or vice versa, teachers to efficiently organize parents-teachers meeting, and many more, all within one individual personal chat and communicating only with the concerned person.
