WhatsApp- To get the feature of transferring chat history from Android to iOS soon

After WhatsApp introduced the feature that was able to transfer chat history from iPhone to Android in 2021, WhatsApp CEO Will Cathcart announced users will be soon able to transfer the chat history from Android to an iPhone device.
At present users of WhatsApp are only able to share chat history from an Android device but now this new feature will make the transfer of chat possible from both OS. Also, WhatsApp has enabled chat transfer from iPhone to some Samsung and Google pixel phones back in 2021.
As per the sources, WhatsApp beta tracker WABetaInfo, what’s up iOS beta version 22.2.74 references to transfer chat from Android to the iOS device. The same source also shares a screenshot getting WhatsApp asking the user for permission for importing chat history.
For the new feature of WhatsApp, the users of WhatsApp are required to physically connect their Android device to the iOS device in which they need to transfer chat history using USB Type-C-to-Lightning cable. this whole procedure will also need installation of Apple’s Move to iOS app on the Android device from which one has to move the chat to an iOS device, WABetaInfo has suggested.
Last year in August WhatsApp introduced transferring chat from iOS to some selected Samsung devices which the company expanded to Google pixel devices in the month of October. migration of chat history from iOS device to Android is also available to devices based on Android 12 out of the box.
