You can soon transfer Whatsapp data using QR code: Check details here!

WhatsApp has now come up with a new feature for its users. It will enable data transfer from one device to another via a QR code.

Reports about the same have been made by WeBetaInfo which is an online platform that tracks new features coming to WhatsApp. It will be an efficient solution for WhatsApp chat backup on a new Android phone.

The functionality of the new WhatsApp feature

The data transfer process will begin with downloading WhatsApp on a brand-new Android device. The user can then scan the QR code on the new phone from their old phone. The feature might resemble WhatsApp Web which is available on a laptop or a computer.

Earlier in January 2023, WhatsApp rolled out proxy support for users across the globe. It will enable the free flow of communication in areas where the internet is disrupted. The Meta-owned app also added that it will be giving users the power to protect their private access to their WhatsApp in case of connection blockage or disruption. It will also enable privacy as well as security for its users. Personal chats of the users are already protected by end-to-end encryption which is an important feature of WhatsApp. At present, users can back up their WhatsApp data on Google Drive.
