Google is on the look for suppliers to facilitate Pixel production hub in India
Google is on the look for suppliers to carry out production of their Pixel smartphones in India. According to reports by Bloomberg, Alphabet Inc’s Google has already initiated talks with various domestic suppliers.
In recent times, Google is not the only company that is expanding or shifting its production chain to India. Even Foxconn, one of Apple’s largest suppliers is looking forward to manufacturing iPhones at their Devanahalli plant in Bengaluru, Karnataka. We recently updated you regarding the same.

Many tech companies faced severe restrictions during the COVID-19 pandemic, which disrupted their functionality. Consequently, some major global tech giants are considering shifting their production from China. India has been one of the most sought countries in recent times for such companies to shift or establish new production bases.
Reports assert that Google is already in the discussion phase with companies like Lava International Ltd, Dixon Technologies India, and Foxconn Technology Group’s Indian unit Bharat FIH. It has also reached out to potential partners who have access to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s production-linked financial incentives. These potential partners have already achieved success in promoting domestic manufacturing.
However, reports stated that Lava, Dixon, Bharat FIH, and Alphabet haven’t shared any immediate comment regarding the matter.
