After being a part of a number of headlines in the past few months, Realme GT 5 Pro finally made its debut in China on 7th December 2023 and the smartphone was available for pre-reservations in the country. The smartphone was supposed to go on sale today in China and Realme fans were eagerly waiting for the device to go officially on sale.

Well, what we never thought was that Realme GT 5 Pro would be breaking the first sales records of all the brand’s devices. The brand has received an immensely great response from Chinese consumers, as soon as the device went on sale in just 5 minutes Realme GT 5 Pro broke the first sales records of all new products of Realme in 2023.

                   

Not only this, in just 5 minutes of sale Realme GT 5 Pro has exceeded the total sales of Realme GT 2 Pro in the first three months. The sale results of this latest device were quite epic and showcased that the consumers in China could not wait any longer to get the experience of this newly launched device as soon as possible.

Realme GT 5 Pro: Specifications & Pricing

The Realme GT 5 Pro smartphone has a 6.78-inch wide 8T LTPO 1.5K OLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate, 2,160Hz PWM dimming, 4500 nits of peak brightness, and Pro-XDR technology. It’s a curved display that has a punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera.

It is powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC paired with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage. The Realme GT 5 Pro smartphone is backed by a 5,400 mAh battery that supports 100W wired fast charging and 50W wireless fast charging. It runs Android 14-based Realme UI 5.0 custom skin.

Realme GT 5 Pro smartphone features a 50-megapixel primary camera which is Sony’s LYT-808 sensor with OIS support. It is complemented by a 50 MP IMX890 periscopic telephoto shooter with 3x optical and 120x hybrid zoom. And in the last, it has an 8 MP Sony IMX355 for ultra wide-angle shots. The front side of the handset sports a 32 MP selfie camera.

The smartphone’s pricing starts at 3,399 Yuan and goes up to 4,299 Yuan.
