Realme grabs third position in India’s smartphone online market in Q3 2023
Realme after experiencing 51% quarter over quarter growth in the second quarter of 2023 has now again reached a new milestone. Just recently the company announced that it has achieved third position in India’s smartphone online market in Q3 2023 in the INR 20k-30k price band. The claim has been made by the company based on Counterpoint India’s Smartphone Monthly Tracker.
Chinese company Realme recently announced that its global shipments have surpassed 200 million units. It achieved the 100 million sales milestone in 2021 and since then it has not seen back.

Realme is the fifth fastest smartphone maker that achieve this milestone and before it Vivo, Huawei, Samsung, and Apple have achieved this target in less time. Reports suggest that the company’s management, demand, marketing promotions, and new launches have been the reason behind this success.
One of the flagship phones that Realme is going to launch is the Realme GT 5 Pro which will give cutthroat competition to other flagship smartphones in the market. It will feature a 1.5K 8T LTPO Pro-XDR panel with up to 144 Hz refresh rate.
It will be powered by the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. For better heat dissipation it will be equipped with the 10,000 mm² heat dissipation unit and 3VC cooling system. In the camera section, it will feature the Sony LYTIA primary camera, and the Sony IMX890 telephoto lens.
The handset will be launched on 7th December in China.
