Realme Ships 200 Million Smartphones in 5 Years: One of the Five Companies to Attain this Milestone
One of the leading Chinese smartphone and other consumer electronics manufacturers, Realme, has now shared the great news that the brand has shipped 200 million units of smartphones since its inception in 2018.

Realme Reaches the Milestone of 200 Million Smartphone Shipments
Realme took 3 years to reach 100 million shipments of smartphones, and two years later, the brand has been able to ship 100 million more smartphones, attaining a milestone of 200 million shipments in just five years ‘ time. This achievement has also made Realme one of the five smartphone brands apart from Apple, Samsung, Huawei, and Vivo to reach 200 million shipments in such a short time. Also to note, just like Vivo and OPPO, Realme is also part of BBK electronics, and was initially a subsidiary of OPPO.

Speaking of the recent updates regarding the brand, Realme will soon be launching its flagship GT 5 Pro device in the Chinese market, and the smartphone is confirmed to make its debut on the 7th of December 2023, next month. Realme’s C67, V50, and V50s devices are also reported to be in the works.

Realme GT 5 Pro – Expected Specifications
The GT 5 Pro device from Realme will be launched equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset and is likely to be coupled with up to 24GB LPDDR5X RAM and 1TB UFS 4.0 storage. It would feature a 6.78″ customized BOE OLED curved-edged display screen with 1.5K resolution, 3000 nits brightness rate, and 144Hz refresh rate. For its cameras, 50MP LYT-808 primary, 8MP IMX355 ultrawide, IMX890 periscope telephoto, and 32MP front-facing cameras are expected. A 54oo mAh battery backup and a 240W wired fast charge support are also among the expected specifications.
