Sales of Xiaomi 14 series have exceeded 1 million units in China: Xiaomi President Lei Jun confirms
The Chinese smartphone manufacturer Xiaomi unveiled its flagship Xiaomi 14 series in its home country last month. The series included two smartphones- Xiaomi 14 and Xiaomi 14 Pro. After making its debut in China, the series is said to make its debut soon in global markets as well though the launch date is yet not known.
Xiaomi 14 series seems to receive a great response from Chinese consumers as recently a user was seen asking about the sale of Xiaomi 14 series and its availability to the brand’s president Lei Jun. In the reply, the Xiaomi president confirmed that the Xiaomi 14 series sale has exceeded 1 million units in China.
The president was also seen mentioning that the brand is still urging orders and the shortage is serious therefore the consumers are advised to be patient.

Xiaomi 14 smartphone comes with a 6.36 inch wide 1.5K TCL CSOT C8 OLED LTPO 12bit display with 120 Hz refresh rate and 3000 nits of peak brightness. The display is protected by Corning Glass Victus. The handset is powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC paired with LPDDR5x RAM and UFS 4.0 storage. It runs HyperOS based on Android 14 out of the box.
The camera section includes a triple camera setup on the rear that features a 50 MP Light Hunter 900 OIS primary camera sensor with a 50 MP JN1 ultrawide camera and a 50 MP telephoto JN1 camera. The front side of the smartphone boasts a 32 MP OV32B selfie camera. The smartphone is backed by a 4610 mAh battery that supports 90W wired charging through a USB 3.2 Gen 1 port and 50 W wireless charging. Additionally, it comes in an IP68-rated body and also features WiFi 7, Bluetooth version 5.4, IR blaster, dual stereo speakers, NFC support, and an X-axis linear motor for haptics.

The Xiaomi 14 Pro smartphone comes with a 6.73 inch wide 2K TCL CSOT C8 OLED LTPO 12bit display that sports up to 120 Hz refresh rate and 3000 nits of peak brightness. The handset is powered by the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC paired with Adreno 750 GPU. The Xiaomi 14 Pro packs up to 16 GB LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1 TB UFS 4.0 storage. The camera section boasts a Leica-branded triple rear camera setup on the rear with a Summilux lens. It consists of a 50-megapixel Hunter 900 sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS) with f//1.6 aperture, a 50-megapixel telephoto camera, and a 50-megapixel ultra-wide angle shooter.
The front side of the phone comes with a 32 MP selfie camera. It runs HyperOS based on Android 14 out of the box. Connectivity options include 5G, Wi-Fi 7, USB 3.2 port, Bluetooth, GPS, Galileo, GLONASS, Beidou, NavIC, and a USB Type-C port.
