Samsung Galaxy S23 series smartphones that will be sold in India will be ‘Made in India’
The launch of the Samsung Galaxy S23 series during the Galaxy Unpacked event was an exciting event for all those who were waiting for the S23 series since its news came. But the launch became a celebrating moment when Samsung announced that their latest Galaxy S23 series smartphones sold in India will be manufactured in India.
If we talk about the location in India it will be manufactured in Samsung’s Noida factory.
This factory was inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in 2018 in Noida. On the way to making India a manufacturing hub this was a milestone.
As of now, Galaxy S series smartphones are manufactured in Vietnam and then it is imported into India. The decision might have been taken in light of the Indian Government’s decision of removing duty on the import of camera lenses which is itself a major component of Samsung S23 series smartphones.
This decision was taken by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman just a day before Samsung’s decision.
