The issue of getting disturbed on the day of the holiday is faced by many employees. To solve this issue the now Indian IT companies have introduced a new policy through which employees bothering co-workers on their holidays will be fined Rs 1 lakh.
The initiative was taken by Dream 11 which allowed its employees to disconnect from work and all job-related emails, texts, calls, and even their co-workers for a week under the new policy.
We recognize that spending time with family and friends or simply relaxing on vacation may significantly enhance one’s mood, quality of life, and productivity generally, added Dream 11.
As per reports of CNBC, the founders of the company stated that the policy is to guarantee that the business is not dependent on any employee.
The employees of the company are very happy with this policy and said now they won’t be bothered all seven days with work calls, emails, messages, or WhatsApp. They even added that now they would be able to spend some quality time with their loved ones.
