Additionally, a former employee’s tweet said that the robotics team as a whole received a pink spill. And as per the Amazon Global Robotics LinkedIn Page, 3,764 employees are been working there which are said to be removed as per the tweet. But there isn’t any confirmation on how many employees would be removed.

Amazon is not just stopping here as per Wall Street Journal it has also asked its non-profit unit-making workers to find another job. Although when asked to Amazon for a reply to the tweet it hasn’t made any answer yet.

The company while announcing the freeze said We’re experiencing an unusual macroeconomic environment. So we want to balance recruiting new employees and making investments. We have already encountered uncertain and challenging economies, so this is nothing new to us.
