Apple discontinues three iPhones just after the launch of iPhone 16e

Apple has finally unveiled the much-awaited iPhone 16e smartphone in global and Indian markets. There was earlier confusion on whether the device will be called iPhone SE 4 or iPhone 16e but the company has now cleared all the confusion and launched the next SE model as iPhone 16e
We all are aware that as Apple launches a new iPhone some older iPhones are discontinued and the company has followed the same pattern this time as well. Just after the launch of the iPhone 16e, Apple discontinued the iPhone SE (2022), iPhone 14, and iPhone 14 Plus.
Reportedly the company may have discontinued the devices due to the EU mandate to sell only USB-C smartphones. iPhone 16e arrives with modern design and upgraded specs compared to iPhone SE (2022) while as per industry analysts, iPhone 14 Plus had underwhelming sales and Apple had halted its production, and may be this is the reason the company has discontinued the device.
Coming to iPhone 14, the company has removed the device from Apple store but the phone will be sold via Apple’s retail partners.
