Ever Thought how to recognize a song with your iPhone?
And with the upgrade to iOS 14.2, Apple also incorporated the Shazam software into iOS (and iPadOS) to make it usable as an integrated tool for consumers.
Apple released a software update on its iPhones and iPad earlier this month which brings to its devices a music recognition app called Shazam.
Apple purchased Shazam back in 2018 to provide you with a short brief. Shazam makes it easy for people to hear music played around them. As a standalone app, it is available. And with the upgrade to iOS 14.2, Apple has incorporated this functionality into iOS (and iPadOS) to make it usable as an inbuilt tool for consumers.
Here are the steps that are given below:
Step 1: You need to update iOS 14.2 for the iPhone first. The following steps are used to do that: Configuration > General > Software Upgrade > Install.
Step 2: Then, in the control centre, you need to bring it up. To do so, follow these steps: Settings > Control Center > Press the Music Recognition option under More Controls.
Step 3: Now, you see the music recognition tool, Shazam, showing in your iPhone’s control panel.
Step 4: Press the Shazam icon in the Control Centre anytime you hear a song, and it will reveal the music that is playing.
