Google Applied For Trademark For It’s Iconic “G” Logo

Google Pixel series of smartphones comes with the iconic letter “G” logo at the centre of the rear panel. You might have seen it in images or on a smartphone though you will be surprised to know that only now the company has applied to register the trademark with the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO). This logo used to be at the bottom centre of the rear panel of Pixel phones though the design of the logo has long remained unchanged.

As per the image shared in the trademark application document, the “G” logo placed at the centre of the rear panel of a handset suggests it’s only applicable to the phone category. Now keeping the logo aspect aside we should not forget that a 3D render of the alleged Pixel Fold 2 is surfacing on the internet that suggests a major change in design.

It showed a rectangular-shaped camera module with rounded edges housing four camera sensors, an LED flash, and a microphone hole. It can come with a quad camera sensor on the rear. It can be powered by a Tensor G4 chipset paired with 16GB RAM. The smartphone can make its debut in October month of this year.
