IND V/S WI : ODI series, 1st ODI, India wins by 6 wickets

India defeated West Indies by six wickets in the first one-day international in Ahmedabad thanks to Yuzvendra Chahal’s clinical bowling and Rohit Sharma’s fine hitting. Rohit scored his 44th ODI fifty and added 84 runs for the opening wicket with Ishan Kishan. As soon as the Indian captain was dismissed on 60(51), Virat Kohli too returned to the pavilion on 8. Rishabh Pant ended up being the last batter out on 11(9) as Ishan scored 28(36). In addition, Sundar picked up three wickets and Prasidh Krishna picked up two wickets among the pacers.
