Indian PC Market Grew 7.1% YoY In Q2 2024; Here Are The Top 5 Companies In Indian PC Market
According to a recent report by International Data Corporation (IDC) Worldwide Quarterly Personal Computing Device Tracker, India’s PC market has shipped 3.39 million units in Q2 2024 with 7.1% YoY growth. The report also reveals the names of the top 5 companies in India’s PC market.
Top 5 Companies In India’s PC Market
HP Inc. has secured the top position with a 31.7% market share and 8.9% YoY growth in this quarter while Lenovo is in second number with a 17.5% market share and 16.2% YoY growth. Dell Technologies is at the third spot with 14.8% market share and 3.3% YoY growth. Acer Group is in the fourth position with 14.7% market share and 38.3% YoY growth.
ASUS is in the 5th position with 7.1% market share and 5.4% YoY growth. Among all the above companies, Acer Group has shown the most impressive YoY growth.
According to Navkendar Singh, Associate VP, Devices Research, IDC India, South Asia & ANZ, “ The onset of AI PCs and several launches in the last few months has brought a wave of optimism in the PC market. While AI PCs may not bring significant consumer demand in the near term, it is likely to make gamers and content creators AI PC in the medium term. AI PCs will also drive refresh commercial orders from 3Q2024 onwards.”
