MediaTek’s Dimensity 9400+ Chip Launch Officially Announced: Vivo X200s and OPPO Find X8s Teased to Use it

The Chinese semi-conductor brand – MediaTek has announced that it will be unveiling its latest Dimensity 9400+ flagship chip next month. In related news, both Vivo and OPPO have also confirmed their upcoming smartphone models that will be using this MediaTek chip.

Dimensity 9400+ Chip – Launching on 11th April 2025
MediaTek around the mid-half of this month, in March 2025, had shared that it will be conducting its next Developer Conference 2025 event (MDDC 2025) on the 11th of April 2025 in Shenzhen, China, and its new generation flagship 5G chip was pointed out to debut at this event. As expected, this upcoming flagship 5G chip will be the Dimensity 9400+ chip itself, and it has been officially confirmed by the brand.
Regarding its core specs, the Dimensity 9400+ chip of MediaTek is expected to be an over-clocked version of the October 2024-released Dimensity 9400, possibly featuring a 3.70 GHz clocked boosted Cortex X925 core.
Additionally, the Chinese smartphone makers Vivo and OPPO have already announced their Dimensity 9400+ powered smartphone models too. Vivo’s X200s and OPPO’s Find X8s are the mentioned smartphone devices to use this flagship chip.
Speaking more, OPPO has already scheduled its major product launch conference on the 10th of April 2025, and apart from the Find X8s smartphone model, the Find X8s+ (which may also use the Dimensity 9400+ chip), Find X8 Ultra, Pad 4 Pro, Watch X2 Mini, Enco Free 4, and 27W Ice Wing Magnetic Cooling Back Clip are all confirmed to be debuted at the event.
Vivo is also said to hold a product launch conference next month in April 2025, and along with the X200s, the brand is believed to unveil its X200 Ultra, Pad 4 Pro, and Watch 5 devices too at this event.
Just to add, other than the above mentioned devices, iQOO’s Neo 10S Pro, Realme’s Neo 7 Pro, OnePlus’ Ace 5S, and Xiaomi’s 15T Pro and Redmi K80 Ultra are also other smartphone models that are likely going to hit the market with the MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ chip.
