Qualcomm Unveils Snapdragon 4s Gen 2: Powering Affordable Smartphones with Advanced 5G Capabilities
After a major leak Qualcomm has finally announced a powerful SoC for the affordable smartphones that is Snapdragon 4s Gen 2. This will allow companies to launch powerful phones at affordable prices. The Qualcomm 4s Gen 2 processor is an octa core processor whose’ Kyro CPU includes two performance cores at 2.0GHz and six efficiency cores at up to 1.8GHz. It comes with an undefined Adreno GPU with hardware-accelerated H.265 and VP9 decoding. It supports up to 1Gbps speeds via standalone sub-6GHz 5G.
It also comes with the Dual Frequency NAVIC and Wi-Fi 5 support. It comes with the updated Spectra image signal processor (ISP) that can work with up to 32MP or dual 16MP cameras with zero-lag 30fps capture. It can record a single 1080p video stream at 60fps, two 1080p streams at 30fps, and slow-motion at 720p and 120fps. Features also include image stabilization, face detection, and noise reduction.
In display, it supports Full HD+ displays with refresh rates up to 90Hz. It can work with up to LPDDR4x, UFS 3.1, and USB 3.2 Gen 1.

Xiaomi is expected to be the first company to power their smartphones with this processor thus launching a powerful and affordable smartphone in the market.
