Kuwait has summoned India’s ambassador as BJP leaders commented on the Prophet after Qatar

As per the news, it claims that after Qatar, Kuwait summoned India’s ambassador and sent him a note of displeasure over BJP leaders’ anti-Muslim statements. Meanwhile, India told Qatar on Sunday that the contentious remarks against minorities were made by fringe individuals, not the Indian government.

According to sources, we discovered that Ambassador Deepak Mittal, the Spokesperson of the Embassy of India in Qatar had a meeting in the Foreign Office in response to a media query about a statement issued by Qatar’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs on an aggressive tweet in India, inside which concerns were raised about some abusive comments by individuals in India disparaging the religious personality.

Furthermore, the tweets, according to the Ambassador, do not reflect the views of the Indian government in any way. These are the viewpoints of the periphery. The Government of India offers the highest respect to all religions, in keeping with our civilizational legacy and strong cultural traditions of unity in diversity. Those who made disparaging remarks have already faced severe consequences. Additionally, after their reported incendiary remarks towards minorities, the Bharatiya Janata Party banned Nupur Sharma from the party’s primary membership and dismissed Delhi media head Naveen Kumar Jindal.

As per the sources, we also came to know that concerned parties have also released a statement expressing respect for all religions and opposing insults to religious figures or denigration of any religion or group. People have been incited by entrenched interests who are opposed to India-Qatar relations using insulting statements.
