Madhusoodhan a criminal was caught after posting a selfie in Facebook
Madhusoodhan from Mysuru was arrested after posting a selfie in Facebook, who was on run from the police for about five years.
Madhusoodhan was charged with murder case of Uday Raj Singh who was a 65 year old retired bank manager in the year 2014 along with six other criminals. The gang killed Uday Raj to steal a diamond necklace from him. The criminals also stabbed Uday’s wife Susheelamma.
The accused was working as an assistant manager in a private bank. Later, he started a franchisee trading firm but suffered a loss of about Rs 1.2 crore. At that time, he saw an advertisement online that the victim, Uday Raj Singh wanted to sell an gold and diamond necklace. Consequently, the accused and his associates went as a customer to buy that necklace. However, their intentions were to rob that necklace. They attacked both the couples, but the wife of Uday Raj survived.
Accordingly, Madhu was staying secretly in Patna and Pune. He was using fake names and identity to hid himself from police. However, the mistake he made was the photo which he uploaded on Facebook. The accused came to Karnataka again, to meet his friend in a mall. There, they took a selfie and his friend posted it on Facebook which led police to arrest Madhu.
