MediaTek Dimensity 8250 With Powerful AI Processing And Adaptive Gaming Technologies Officially Unveiled
Just a few days back MediaTek officially unveiled its latest chipset- Dimensity 9300 Plus SoC that arrived with Generative AI and now the company has introduced yet another chipset- Dimensity 8250 SoC. This chipset is said to bring epic gaming experiences with sustainably high frame rates to premium 5G smartphones.
MediaTek Dimensity 8250: Specs And Features
The chipset arrives with one Arm Cortex A78 core clocked at 3.1GHz, three Arm Cortex A78 cores at 3.0GHz, four Arm Cortex A55 cores at 2.0GHz, and 4MB L3 cache. It arrives with quad-channel LPDDR5 RAM support and UFS 3.1 storage support. It comes with a maximum 320MP camera support and also supports a maximum video capture resolution of 4k at 60fps. It is paired with Arm Mali-G610 MC6 GPU.
The chipset offers a maximum refresh rate of up to 180Hz for FHD+ display and up to 120Hz for WQHD+ display. It supports Bluetooth 5.3, up to 3CC sub-6GHz, MediaTek 5G Ultrasave 2.0, and WiFi 6E connectivity options and is equipped with MediaTek APU 580 (AI). It offers AI SDR to HDR video playback, HDR10+ Adaptive support, Smart BluLight Defender, AI noise reduction for photo capture, 2x lossless zoom, and 4K AV1 media decoding. It comes with an enhanced MediaTek Hyperengine.
Earlier reports revealed that the upcoming Oppo Reno 12 smartphone might be powered with this newly launched chipset. Other smartphone brands might also introduce their devices with this chipset soon.
