MediaTek Dimensity 9300 Plus With Generative AI Officially Announced
As earlier announced, MediaTek has today officially unveiled its latest MediaTek Dimensity 9300+ chipset at the MediaTek Dimensity Developer Conference (MDDC). This chipset is the upgraded version of MediaTek Dimensity 9300 and arrives with support for on device generative AI and LLM.

The chipset is built on 3rd Gen 4nm TSMC process. It comes with one Cortex-X4 core clocked at 3.40GHz, three Cortex X4 cores clocked at 2.85GHz and four Cortex A720 cores at 2.0GHz. There’s a hardware raytracing engine with flagship 12 core ARM Immortalis-G720 MC12 GPU. The chipset arrives with LPDDR5x & LPDDR5T RAM support and UFS 4.0+ MCQ storage support.
It comes with maximum 320MP camera support and also supports maximum video capture resolution of 8k at 30fps and 4k at 60fps. If we talk about display, the chipset offers maximum refresh rate of up to 120Hz for 4K display and up to 180Hz for WQHD display. It also comes with WiFi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4 support. It is equipped with MediaTek APU 790 (Generative AI) that supports LLMs with scalability up to 33B. It arrives with Imagiq 990 ISP that offers 18-bit RAW processing, 18MB L3 and SLC cache. This chipset is said to offer intelligent gaming and app performance for top tier smartphones with MediaTek Adaptive Gaming technology. It comes with Network Observation system that optimizes gaming networking, enabling leading gaming studios to greatly improve dual network concurrency.
