Netizens are fighting over whether India should support Russia or Not?
The war had begun between Russia and Ukraine, in this whole chaos where is India? does India support Russia or not? And what the Netizens think in this conflict. Starting with the fact that in UN India and China are in a Neutral position.
On Twitter, the netizens have shown their views over the war and wheater India should support Russia or not. Here few of them.
Govt of India please do not support Russia under any circumstances. We always support what's morally right and being against Russia is morally right in the current situation. If you want to be a superpower and be part of the UNSC show what you can do to support Ukraine. #India

I dont think ppl realize how hard it is for India to express unequivocal support for Ukraine. Whatever is happening right now is terrible but given India's own border disputes & Russia's support over the yrs (Russia has used it's veto power in favor of India multiple times) (1/2)

#RussiaUkraineWar India must stand with our age old friend #Russia maintaining proper balance with #NATO. #Ukraine voted against #India in #UN many times on issues like #Kashmir #Pakistan #IndiaInSecurityCouncil #NuclearIssue. Reporters covering #War must be aware of facts

Many Indian do believe be do not have to support Russia, according to the unjustified “peacekeeping” in Ukraine. But according to the logical statistics, India will not oppose Russia as India in many ways itself is depends on Russia, 80% of the military equipment imported from Russia. India not only imported military equipment but also made ballistic missiles with a joint venture, the Barmmos was an example of this. Not only this if China and Russia shake their hands it will be even more problematic for India.
The draft resolution, sponsored by the United States and its allies, will call out Russia over its actions but is not expected to pass as Russia, which is also the current president of the 15-member Security Council, has a veto. Diplomats have told Reuters that at least 11 members are expected to vote in favour. “We expect our Indian partners to support Russia,” Babushkin, currently the senior-most Russian diplomat in New Delhi said about the resolution.
Currently, there is no official statement whether India is supporting Russia or not.
