MG Comet EV, finally launched in India, get to know all about this India’s smallest EV
MG Comet, the most awaited all-electric model has been officially launched today. Its pricing starts from Rs 7.98 lakh while for other variants prices will soon be revealed. It will be available for test drives from April 27, booking open on May 15, and deliveries will begin later in the month. The company is focusing on those buyers who are looking for an urban runabout with a compact Comet EV.
This is going to be the smallest all-electric vehicle in the country with lengths 1,640 mm tall, and 1,505 mm tall. It runs on 12-inch steel wheels. As far as its features are concerned this car has a range of 230 kms. It comes with three drive modes Eco, Normal, and Sport. Its single motor delivers a power output of 41 hp and a Max torque of 110 Nm. Its top speed is 100 Kmph.
Interior
If we talk about other internal features it comes with two 10.25-inch screens. One screen works as the main infotainment display that supports Android Auto and Apple CarPlay and other apps. The second one works as a digital driver display. Customers need not worry about the storage space, although it doesn’t have a dashboard there is plenty of storage in the car which includes hooks for bags. It has got its iconic two-spoke wheel with controls inspired by the iPods.
Color option
This car is available for customers in three single-tone options which are White, Black, and Silver. The dual-tone color option includes Green with a Black roof, White with a Black roof.
