Toyota Glanza is set to compete with its counterpart Maruti Suzuki Baleno with premium features

It’s been quite a long time since Toyota has been working on the CNG variant of Glanza and seems to have approached close to unveiling it in front of people who have been eagerly waiting. Type Approval Certificate revealing issued by RTO Delhi to Toyota reveals the feature that it would be coming within the market to set a mark. Its features stated in the document reveal that the Toyota Glanza can be a premium CNG hatchback that would surpass the popularity of even its counterpart, the Maruti Baleno. 

It would have a Bi-fuel CNG setup with the same regular feature as its counterpart. Glanza CNG will get a 1.2-liter DualJet petrol engine where it produces 77PS and 98.5Nm in CNG mode, which is 13PS and 14.5Nm less than the output of petrol. Five-speed manual transmission would be seen and an AMT option would be available with petrol mode. 

 

Pricing

Toyota Glanza’s CNG variants can come at a premium cost of 1 Lakh more than its petrol variants. Showroom owners and experts have predicted that the actual cost can be from 7.48 Lakh to 8.5 Lakh.
