ASUS ROG ALLY Gaming Device is Now Available for Pre-Orders in Japan

The ASUS ROG ALLY is a handheld gaming device that the Taiwan-based company introduced globally on the 11th of May, 2023 and now the device is available in its Japanese market for pre-orders. The device has been built to offer the best gaming experience to its users enabling them to even play high-end games on the device.

ASUS ROG ALLY gaming device features an ergonomic design with a dimension of 280.0 x 111.38 x 21.22~32.43 mm and weighs only about 608 grams. The device is powered by the AMD Ryzen Z1 Extreme processor with a standard clock speed of 3.3 GHz and a maximum clock speed of 5.1 GHz and runs on the Windows 11 Home-based operating system. For its storage part, ASUS’ gaming device has an LPDDR5-6400 RAM of 16GB/16GB(Standard/Maximum) and has a PCI Express 4.0 storage of 512GB.

Now coming to its display, the device sports a 7″ TFT color liquid crystal touch display with a screen resolution of 1,920 x 1,080 pixels and supports a refresh rate of 120Hz. The device also has two inbuilt stereo speakers of 1W each along with a built-in microphone array.

Speaking about the device controls, it has direction buttons, a view button, a command center button, an armory crate button, a menu button, A/B/X/Y buttons, a Macro 1 button, a Macro 2 button, left bumper-right bumper, a left trigger-right trigger, a volume button, and a power button.

Connectivity ports on the device include a USB 3.2 type-C port, a memory card reader(microSDXC, microSDHC, microSD), and a microphone/headphone combo jack. Other connectivity options include Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth connectivity support of version 5.1.

Regarding its battery backup, the ASUS ROG ALLY gaming device is backed by a 40Wh 4-cell lithium polymer battery and comes along with a 65W type-C AC power adapter. With its battery backup, the device will offer its users a playtime of upto 10.2 hours and can be charged very quickly in about 1.6 hours.

The pre-orders of the ASUS ROG ALLY have already begun at 11 am local time today on the 2nd of June, 2023. The open sales will start on the 14th of June and shipping for those pre-ordered customers will sequentially start from the 12th of June onwards. The device is listed on the ASUS Store website at a price of CNY 109,800.
