Sony WF-C700N design renders with key features leaked online and Sony WH-100XM5 upcoming color variant renders revealed

Sony is rumored to be prepping for the launch of their new earbuds soon – Sony WF-C700N. These earbuds will be the successor to Sony WF-C500 which made its debut in 2022. MySmartPrice, in their recent report, revealed the design renders and key specifications of these upcoming earbuds. Not only this the tech site also mentioned in their report an upcoming color variant of already launched Sony WH-100XM5 headphones.

As per the report, the upcoming Sony WF-C700N will be arriving with a capsule-shaped design charging case. The earbuds will have an in-ear design with silicon ear tips. It will be equipped with Sony’s Digital Sound Enhancement Engine which will help the users to get a personalized sound experience. It will come with a dual connection feature, ANC support, and wind noise reduction.

 

As far as the battery life is concerned it was revealed that these upcoming earbuds will offer up to 15 hours of battery life including the case when the ANC is kept on. It will take 90 minutes to fully charge these earbuds. With 10 minutes of charging users get an hour of music playback.

These upcoming earbuds will be arriving in 4 color variants: White, Green, Violet, and Black.

Apart from this, Sony WF-C700N has already bagged Bluetooth SIG Certification which revealed that the earbuds will support Bluetooth 5.2 connectivity. These earbuds are speculated to be a major contender in the budget-friendly true wireless earbud market.

In the report, the marketing image of an upcoming color variant of Sony WH-1000XM5 was revealed. Sony WH-1000XM5 made their debut last year and seems like very soon we will be witnessing a blue color variant of these headphones in the market. These headphones offer up to 30 hours of battery life. It comes with a 30nm driver unit and the product will be supported by DSEE Extreme and LHDC audio.
