Upcoming Microsoft Surface Devices
Microsoft, the American tech company will be launching a few of its Surface devices soon which includes both tablet and PC devices. The upcoming Surface devices include the Surface Pro 10 11″ and 13″ tablets, the Surface Go 4 tablet which will be available in ARM and Intel-powered variants, the Surface Laptop Studio 2 powered by the 13th Gen Intel H, and the Nvidia RTX 40 series GPU and also the Surface Laptop 6 series.
The Surface Go 4 which is to arrive soon in markets will be the first Surface device to feature an ARM processor. As the Surface Go series devices are entry-level devices, they are usually powered by the Intel Pentium processor or the Intel Core M3 chip, both of which not only don’t meet up to the expected performance levels but also offer low battery life. The ARM variant will be great in offering better battery life along with 5G capabilities and those who still prefer Intel processors can pick the Intel variant.
The Surface Laptop Studio 2 powered by the 13th Gen Intel H processor and integrated with the NVIDIA RTX 40 series GPU is one of the other Surface devices that will be launching this year and multiple SKUs of the device will be made available. Design-wise nothing much is to be changed apart from certain improvements in its performance.
The 6th generation of the Surface Laptop is also to be launched soon and regarding its specs, nothing much has been confirmed yet other than a few predictions. The device may arrive with the Core i5-1335U/i7-1355U CPUs and is likely to be integrated with the Intel Iris Xe GPU. Regarding its price, the upcoming device is expected to have the same price point as the previous two models.
The Surface Pro 10 11″ and 13″ is also expected to have close to the same specs and price of its previous version and just like the other devices, its specs still remain unknown.
We’ll probably have to wait until the launch of the devices or until official updates arrive, to confirm the specifications and features of the upcoming devices.
