Huawei Band 9 spotted on TDRA certification website; launch seems imminent
The Chinese manufacturer Huawei unveiled its fitness tracker- Huawei Band 8 last year in the Chinese market. This fitness tracker arrived with various health monitoring features, workout modes, music and camera control, incoming call alerts, and much more. Now after a year, it appears that very soon this fitness tracker will be getting its successor.
Last month Huawei Band 9 was spotted on the SIRIM certification website while The Tech Outlook has today spotted Huawei Band 9 on the TDRA database with model number KIM-B19.
Except for the moniker and model number not much is known about this fitness tracker. However, the appearance of the device on multiple certification websites hints that the Huawei Band 9 may be approaching its launch. In the coming days, we might come across some more details regarding the Huawei Band 9.
Although the Huawei Band 9 will be arriving as the successor of the Huawei Band 8 it is expected that the upcoming fitness tracker might arrive with some improvements and upgrades over its predecessor.

It features a 1.47-inch 2.5D AMOLED touch display that offers HD resolution and 282 ppi screen density. It arrives with a 5ATM water-resistant rating for up to 50 meters. The fitness band supports Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity. It is equipped with an Accelerometer sensor, gyroscope sensor, and optical heart rate sensor.
It comes with various health monitoring features- Huawei TruSeen 5.0 heart rate monitoring, Huawei TruSleep 3.0 sleep tracking, Huawei TruRelax stress tracking, and Menstrual cycle tracking. Huawei Band 8 features 100 workout modes that include 11 professional workout modes such as indoor and outdoor running, cycling, rope skipping, and more customized modes. It offers music control, camera control, quick message reply, and incoming call alerts feature. The fitness band offers up to 14 days of battery life. It is compatible with Android 6.0 or later and iOS 9.0 or later.
