Jio Airfiber officially confirmed to debut in next couple of months , tipped to cost around Rs.6,000 INR
In recent years, Reliance Jio has become India’s largest telecom operator and now the rolling out of its 5G network connectivity at a rapid speed has made it possible for the company to be at the top leaving behind the other telecom operators in India. Reportedly, the company will be soon launching the Jio AirFiber service for Wi-Fi at home and office.
Also as per a report by Economic Times, President of Reliance Industries Limited Kiran Thomas has said in a statement, “ Jio AirFiber will be launched in the next few months and the Jio AirFiber will accelerate the company’s connected homes strategy .” Famous tipster Abhishek Yadav who goes by @yabhishekhd has also in his recent tweet shared the details of this upcoming device along with its expected price.

According to the tipster, the device will cost around Rs.6,000 INR, and as mentioned AirFiber will use fixed wireless broadband technology which will be providing the same high speed and service as traditional broadband. It will be coming with two units as per images shared by him :
- One unit will be installed on the roof
- Others will be connected to the router via cable
Users need to insert Jio 5G Sim in Jio AirFiber which will deliver speed up to 1 Gbps and the AirFiber will also be supporting Jio Set Top Box as mentioned in the follow-up thread. Apart from this Jio AirFiber Wi-Fi 6 another variant that is movable just like a smartphone.
As per the company, the Wi-Fi coverage offered by Jio Home Gateway can cover an area of around 1000 square feet on the same floor as an office or a house. Though the company has till now kept silent on the exact launch date or timeline but at least this much is confirmed that the upcoming device will be coming soon in the next few months.
