ASUS Introduces the ROG Zephyrus G16, ROG Strix Scar 16/18, ROG G22CH, ROG Strix G13CH, and S501ME Devices in India
The Taiwanese tech giant, ASUS, had revealed its plan to launch many new gaming laptops and PCs for its Indian customers and as promised, the brand has introduced its ROG Zephyrus G16 and ROG Strix Scar 16/18 laptops, and the ROG G22CH, ROG Strix G13CH, and S501ME workstations in India today on the 14th of February 2024.

ASUS ROG Zephyrus G16
The ASUS ROG Zephyrus G16 is powered by the Intel Core Ultra 7 Processor 155H (1.4 GHz) and is integrated with NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Laptop GPU and Intel AI Boost NPU. It runs on the Windows 11 Home operating system, and features a 16″ 2K ROG Nebula Display with a 240Hz refresh rate. 8GBx2 LPDDR5X 7467 onboard RAM(16GB max) and 1TB PCIe 4.0 NVMe M.2 SSD are part of the device. A backlit chiclet keyboard with 1-zone RGB lighting, touchpad, 1080P FHD IR camera for Windows Hello, 4 speakers, 2 tweeters, 3 microphone array, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3, 90WHrs battery, and 200W AC adaptor are some of the other specs.
ASUS ROG Strix Scar 16/18
The ASUS ROG Strix Scar 16 comes in two models with the Intel Core i9 Processor 14900HX (2.2 GHz) and with integrated NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090/NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4080 Laptop GPUs. The device also supports 32GB DDR5-5600 SO-DIMM RAM (64GB max) and 2TB + 2TB PCIe 4.0 NVMe M.2 storage, and runs on the Windows 11 Home operating system. A 16″ ROG Nebula HDR QHD+ display with 240Hz refresh rate, backlit chiclet keyboard per-key RGB, number-pad, touchpad, 720P HD camera, 4-speakers, microphone array, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3, 90WHrs battery, 100W charging adapter, are the other specs ASUS’ ROG Strix Scar 16 currently starts at a list price of Rs. 2,89,990.
The 18″ ASUS ROG Strix Scar is equipped with the Intel Core i9 Processor 14900HX itself, and has up to NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 Laptop GPU options. It also has the Windows 11 Home operating system, and features a larger 18″ 2.5K Nebula HDR display with 240Hz refresh rate support. Quad speakers with Dolby Atmos and a two-way AI noise cancellation feature are also present. The laptop also supports Wi-Fi 6E and probably Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity as well. Regarding the battery, a 90WHrs battery is backed within, supporting 100W fast charging. The device has a current starting price of Rs. 3,39,990.
ASUS ROG G22CH
The ASUS ROG G22CH workstation has the Intel Core i7-13700F Processor (2.1GHz)/Intel Core i7-14700F Processor (2.1GHz), Intel B760 chipset, and the NVIDIA GeForce RTX4070 GPU. It also packs 16GB DDR5 SO-DIMM RAM(32GB max) and 1TB M.2 2280 NVMe PCIe 4.0 Performance SSD. Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity support are also there. To reduce/maintain the temperature, a liquid cooler is also present within the workstation.
Two models of the ASUS ROG G22Ch are now available at offer prices of Rs. 1,99,990 and Rs. 2,29,990.
ASUS ROG Strix G13CH
The ASUS ROG Strix G13CH is powered by the Intel Core i7-14700F Processor (2.1GHz), and comes with the Intel B760 chipset and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 GPU. Windows 11 Home operating system is also onboard, along with Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity. The device also has a air cooler to maintain optimum temperature.
ASUS has unveiled its ROG Strix G13CH workstation at a discounted price of Rs. 1,39,990, from the actual list price of Rs. 1,70,990.
ASUS S501ME
The ASUS S501ME workstation has arrived with two processor options – Intel Core i3-13100 Processor (3.4GHz) or Intel Core i5-13400 Processor (2.5GHz). It also has the Intel B760 chipset onboard, and is integrated with 2 x DDR4 U-DIMM slot, 8GB DDR4 U-DIMM, and maximum memory support of up to 64GB. A 512GB M.2 2280 NVMe PCIe 3.0 SSD is also present. The device supports Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity as well, and high definition 7.1 channel audio.
The S501ME workstation from ASUS now is available at a starting price of Rs. 37,990. Just to add, its actual list price is Rs. 56,990.
All the newly introduced ASUS devices will be made available for purchase to Indian customers via the brand’s ASUS Exclusive Store and ASUS eShop, and also through other e-commerce platforms such as Amazon, Flipkart, Reliance Digital, Vijay Sales, and Croma.
