After being a part of headlines for the past few months, the Galaxy Book 4 series has finally been unveiled by the South Korean tech giant Samsung. This newly unveiled series arrives with a focus on AI, better display, faster charging, and amazing processing power. The series includes three laptops- Galaxy Book 4 Pro (14-inch, 16-inch), Galaxy Book 4 Pro 360 and Galaxy Book 4 Ultra. Galaxy Book 4 Pro
This laptop arrives in two display variants- 14 inch and 16 inch. Both the touch AMOLED displays offer 16:10 aspect ratio, WQXGA+ (2880X1800) screen resolution, 400 nits brightness, 120 Hz refresh rate and 120% DCI-P3 Color volume. The 14 inch variant weighs 1.23 kg while the 16 inch variant weighs 1.56 kg. The 14 inch variant arrives with Pro keyboard (backlit) and is powered by 63Wh battery. The 16 inch variant arrives with Pro keyboard with numeric key (backlit) and is powered by 76Wh battery. 14 inch variant measures 312.2 X 223.8 X 11.6mm and 16 inch variant measures 355.4 X 250.4 X 12.5mm.
Both the variants arrive with Intel Core Ultra 5/ Ultra 7 (Intel Evo edition) processor and are equipped with Intel Arc Graphics. It is equipped with Windows 11 Home. They offer 16GB/32GB LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB/512GB/1TB SSD. They feature 2MP camera, studio quality dual microphones, AKG Quad speaker and Dolby Atmos. It is equipped with Intel Core Ultra 7/ Ultra 5 (Intel Evo edition) processor, Intel Arc Graphics and Windows 11 Home. It offers 16GB/32GB (LPDDR5X) RAM and 512GB/1TB SSD. It arrives with 2MP camera, studio quality dual microphones/ AKG Quad speakers, Dolby Atmos, Pro keyboard with Numeric key (backlit) and S Pen.
The laptop is backed by 76Wh battery and comes with 65W USB Type-C adapter. Connectivity features include- WiFi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3, Thunderbolt 4 (2), USB Type-A port, HDMI 2.1 port, Micro SD and heaphone/microphone. The laptop measures 355.4 X 252.2 X 12.8mm and weighs 1.66 kg.
Galaxy Book 4 Ultra
The laptop sports a 16-inch touch AMOLED display that offers a 16:10 aspect ratio, WQXGA+ screen resolution, 400 nits brightness, 120 Hz refresh rate, VRR, and 120% DCI-P3 color volume. It is equipped with Intel Core Ultra 9/ Core Ultra 7 (Intel Evo edition), two graphic variants- NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Laptop GPU 8GB GDDR6/ 4050 Laptop GPU 6GB GDDR6 and Windows 11 Home. It offers 16GB/32GB/64GB LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB/1TB/2TB SSD. It is backed by 76Wh battery and comes with 140W USB Type-C adapter.
Other features include a camera, studio quality dual microphones/ AKG Quad speakers, Dolby Atmos and Pro Keyboard with Numeric Key (backlit keyboard). Connectivity options include: WiFi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3, Thunderbolt 4 (2), USB Type-A, HDMI 2.1 port, Micro SD, and headphone/microphone. It measures 355.4 X 250.4 X 16.5mm and weighs 1.86 kg.
Galaxy Book 4 series: Pricing & Availability
Galaxy Book 4 Pro comes in two color variants- Moonstone gray and platinum silver and will be available at a starting price of 1.88 million($1,453). Galaxy Book 4 Pro 360 also arrives in Moonstone gray and Platinum silver variants while it will be available at a starting price of 2.59 million won ($2,000). Galaxy Book 4 Ultra arrives only in the Moonstone Gray variant and will be available at a starting price of 3.36 million won ($2,597).
As officially announced by the company Galaxy Book 4 series will be available in selected markets and will be arriving first in South Korea in January 2024.
