Alleged global variant of Redmi Note 12R spotted on FCC certification website, might launch soon
Redmi Note 12R was recently launched in China and after that, the device was expected to soon make its entry in the global as well as Indian markets. As we have already discussed that this latest device is tipped to be introduced in global and Indian markets as Redmi 12 5G and POCO M6 Pro 5G. Previously Redmi Note 12R has been spotted on the IMDA certification platform and also on the IMEI database, looking at the model number of this device it was expected that it might launch globally or in India by the end of July.
After being spotted on these platforms the device has now made its appearance on the FCC certification website with model number 23076RN8DY.
The website revealed that the smartphone runs on MIUI 14 based on Android 13 while it has been confirmed that a 22.5W charging adapter will be accompanied with this upcoming device. Previously it was also revealed that the device will have NFC support. We will have to wait until more updates are made available about the upcoming smartphones in the global and Indian markets.
Redmi Note 12R: Specifications
The smartphone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 processor and runs on MIUI 14 based on Android 13. It offers up to 8GB RAM and 256GB internal storage. The device features a 6.69-inch IPS LCD FHD+ display that supports a 90 Hz refresh rate. It is also equipped with a 5000mAh battery that supports 180W fast charging.
The smartphone at its rear sports a dual camera setup that includes 50MP main camera and 2MP macro camera. It features a 5MP selfie camera.
