Alleged Honor 100, 100 Pro smartphones receive 3C certification in China

Honor has confirmed that it will be holding a launch event on Nov. 23 in China. The likely candidates that are expected to go official on the said date include the Honor 100 series and the Honor X50 GT. Ahead of the upcoming launch, two Honor devices with model numbers MAA-AN00 and MAA-AN10 have appeared in the database of the 3C certification platform. It appears that these devices could be the upcoming Honor 100 series of smartphones.

Honor 100 series 3C certification

The above screenshot shows that two new Honor phones with model numbers MAA-AN00 and MAA-AN10 have been approved by China’s 3C certification platform. The listings reveal that both devices will arrive with an Honor charger bearing the HM-200500C05 model number, which supports up to 100W charging.

Both models have also been approved by China’s MIIT certification. Since both models have received important certifications, it appears that these devices may go official, possibly through the forthcoming launch event.

Honor November 23 launch event

Honor is yet to confirm anything about the Honor 100 and Honor 100 Pro. However, it is being said that the standard model could be equipped with the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 or the upcoming Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset, whereas the Pro edition may arrive with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 onboard. These devices will replace the Honor 90 and 90 Pro, which came equipped with the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 and Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipsets, respectively.

Honor is also said to be working on the Snapdragon 888-powered Honor X50 GT smartphone. It remains to be seen whether it also debut at the upcoming launch event.
