Alleged iQOO Pad certified in China
There have been rumours that iQOO is working on a tablet. It is tentatively dubbed the iQOO Pad by the rumour mill. In all likelihood, the tablet may launch this year in China. The reason behind it is that the alleged iQOO Pad has received approval from the MIIT authority in China.
The screenshot below shows that China’s MIIT has approved a Vivo device with model number iPA2375. Since Vivo has just launched the Vivo Pad 2 flagship tablet, it appears that the iPA2375 could be the model number of the rumoured iQOO Pad.
At present, there is no information available on the specifications of the iQOO Pad. Considering that iQOO is a performance-driven brand, it is likely that the iQOO Pad will deliver a top-notch gaming experience. Hence, it is likely to come equipped with Qualcomm’s top-of-the-line Snapdragon 8-series or MediaTek’s Dimensity 9000-series chipset.
Meanwhile, iQOO is reportedly gearing up to launch the iQOO Neo 8 series of flagship phones in Chinese market. Rumours are rife that the iQOO Neo 8 and Neo 8 Pro will be unveiled in May in China.
The iQOO Neo 8 is expected to come equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1. The Pro model is most likely to make its debut as the first phone using the upcoming Dimensity 9200 Plus chipset. The D9200+ chip is said to offer better performance than the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, which is currently Qualcomm’s most powerful chip.
