Alleged POCO X6 Neo Smartphone – BIS Certified
Two new smartphone devices were recently spotted on MIUI Code with model numbers “2312DRAABI” and “2312FRAFDI”, and these two devices are said to be the Redmi Note 13 5G and POCO X6 Neo smartphones respectively.
The Redmi Note 13 5G has already made it to the BIS certification database with the above-mentioned model number, while the POCO X6 Neo had also received the BIS certification with the said model number, but at the time its moniker was unknown.
Later reports claimed the device to be the 4G variant of the Redmi Note 13 smartphone. However, its FCC and IMDA certifications pointed to the model numbers “23129RA5FL” and “23117RA68G”, making the claims false.
The model number “2312FRAFDI” shows great similarity to the model number of the Redmi Note 13R Pro smartphone(2311FRAFDC) that has already been listed on the Chinese Telecom website, as well as on the 3C certification platform. This suggests that the upcoming POCO X6 Neo smartphone might be a repackaged version of the Redmi Note 13R Pro device that is soon going to debut in the Chinese market.
Also, the BIS listing reveals that the model number “2312FRAFDI” has been attributed with both POCO and Redmi brandings, which might again be pointing that not just the POCO X6 Neo, but the Redmi Note 13R Pro smartphone may also have its launch in India.
