Alleged Redmi K70 Ultra key specifications tipped, here’s what to expect
Last month, Redmi unveiled three K70-branded phones, such as the Redmi K70e, the Redmi K70, and the Redmi K70 Pro, in China. Likely, the brand may also announce the Redmi K70 Ultra as the successor to the Redmi K60 Ultra. In a new Weibo post, tipster Digital Chat Station has reportedly leaked the key specifications of the K70 Ultra.
Earlier this month, tipster DCS reportedly spoke about the existence of a Dimensity 9300-powered sub-flagship phone from Xiaomi. At that time, it was speculated that he could be talking about the Redmi K70 Ultra.
He claimed that some of its strengths would include a better photography experience and faster charging capabilities. He added that the device would arrive to meet the shortcomings of its Snapdragon siblings, which appear to be the Redmi K70 Pro and K70.
In today’s leak, the tipster revealed that the alleged Redmi K70 Ultra will be equipped with an 8T OLED panel with extremely narrow bezels on all four sides. It is unclear whether the flat display will offer a 1.5K or 2K resolution. He reiterated that the device will be equipped with the Dimensity 9300 SoC, emphasizing an exceptional balance between performance and cost-effectiveness.
To recall, the Redmi K60 Ultra remained exclusive to the Chinese market, but a tweaked version of the device with the Xiaomi 13T Pro moniker was released in the global market. Hence, it is likely that the K70 Ultra may remain confined to the Chinese market, but there could be a slightly modified model dubbed the Xiaomi 14T Pro for the global audience.
