Alleged Vivo Y36 spotted on SIRIM website , launch seems imminent
Vivo recently or rather silently launched the Vivo Y78+ in China and yet still there is no word on its global launch yet. We previously informed you about a mysterious Vivo smartphone spotted on certification websites with the model number V2247. However, we didn’t know the name of this device.
It turns out that Vivo will be unveiling another smartphone under the Y series, as the mysterious Vivo V2247 is named the Vivo Y36. We discovered the name of this upcoming device from the SIRIM website. The Vivo Y36 has appeared on the SIRIM certification website with the model number V2247.
Except for the marketing name, no other detail is revealed about this smartphone but we earlier informed you that the smartphone has received the TKDN certification which confirmed that the upcoming smartphone is a 4G device.
Earlier, the upcoming Vivo Y36 also bagged the EEC certification and appeared on the certification platform with model number V2247. Reportedly, the upcoming smartphone will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 SoC.
So far, Vivo has not made any announcement regarding the launch of this device but the appearance on different certification websites clearly points out that the device is nearing its launch. Also, it is expected that Vivo Y36 might make its debut in India also.
